From Water Damage to a Restored, Modern Fireplace
This fireplace renovation wasn’t just cosmetic — it started as a response to an exterior water leak that had caused structural and finish damage to the hearth and firebox surround. The client also wanted to upgrade the aesthetics while resolving the underlying damage.
We stripped out the old finish materials, resized the firebox opening, installed a new insert, and framed a custom surround. The new mantle was wired with a recessed outlet and finished clean to match the updated look of the living room.
